A Community Garden
Holly Springs wants to build one... but it needs your feedback
Holly Springs is joining several other communities within Wake County by making plans to build a community garden. The garden will be located at Sugg Farm. The town website says the funds are coming from a $500,000 grant from N.C. Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Accessibility for Parks.
A planned community meeting to get input was canceled due to weather (how funny because rainy days are wonderful ones for gardens) but a survey is now available so you can weigh in on the plan.
In case you are wondering what the survey asked… I took it and took screenshots.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes and it really just wants to get an idea of how or why you would use the garden. Here are some of the questions.

The survey is only available until June 30th.
Once it is built, it will be located near the dog park and the bathroom shelter.
