I am a former journalist who worked in local tv news who never stopped caring about the process newsgathering. I now write about the business of Holly Springs, NC that takes place during town council meetings. I’m also a former resident who lived in the town for nearly 20 years.

I originally started this as a way to keep up with town news. I became curious about how decisions were made and wanted to know who the “players” were. Since attending several meetings, I have learned a lot. I’ve also realize that without a local news outlet, residents remain in the dark. I try to write the newsletter without my opinion (and if you knew me personally I have a lot of opinions — lol).
